"Crows" sitting on top of the Järuska bridge roof source http://fotoalbum.ee/photos/pipiuus/99637025/ This is just great news. The people of Lemmaku and Rannapungerja have built the first covered timber truss bridge in Estonia. The Järuska bridge disparates from typical "low price, no value" public procurement result because it is built largely by volunteers and supported by local entrepreneurs and local people. As we know, properly built timber bridges last way longer than concrete or other "modern" materials. Anyway, looking forward to check this bridge out myself! The headroom makes it probably navigable for smaller yachts :) Map -> http://bit.ly/14GKp8S Facts and figures -> http://www.vanaajamaja.ee/jarus
